Meet Liz Moore
I would not be where I am today, doing what I am doing today had it not been for networking.
I am a medically qualified doctor now working as a Health Coach, Pilates instructor, BuggyFit instructor and Face Yoga teacher.
In 2019, after working for 11 years predominantly in obstetrics and gynaecology, I left the NHS due to burnout.
It took me a very long time to disentangle my identity from that of being a doctor and the last 5 years have been a huge transition period for me.
In 2021 I founded an online zero waste shop, Refills by Beez, to provide busy household shoppers and socially responsible businesses with an easy and convenient way to take climate action. Through this business I had my first experience of networking and it had a huge impact on my life.
Through networking I have met, and am still meeting, some amazing individuals all with different personal and profession experience that has opened my eyes to many career options that were not initially obvious to me (I had never even heard of face yoga until I had a random conversation with someone at at networking meeting about it and now I teach face yoga!).
Personal development has been huge for me over the past five years and it has been through the training I have attended and conversations that I have had that I have been able to take the time to identify my personal values and I have now built my career and lifestyle around these.
I enjoy networking, I have started new businesses as a result of networking and I have developed personally as a result of networking.
Having experienced firsthand the power of networking I am so excited to be able to support other women in their networking journey, to create a supportive, thriving, collaborative community within the region.
Supporting members to make connections that will result in business and personal growth along with helping them to become confident networkers, with a Network Strategy that is in line with their vision and objectives is what I strive to achieve.
Our Online group meetings mean that there are endless opportunities to meet and connect with other professional Business Women, who like you, are committed to their business and want to build strong, reliable, authentic business relationships.
Being online also allows our members so much freedom to virtually travel and be part of another group meeting with the use of PASS+. It also means that we can access valuable expertise and for those members who love to speak and deliver value packed training sessions, they are no longer restricted by location.
I also host monthly face to face Informal Networking events for our members which are more relaxed and really support the growth of the relationships formed online.
Our members become each others Walking, Talking, Ambassadors, and being part of a group not only feels like you have your very own Board of Directors that can support you in achieving your goals, they also genuinely want to see everyone succeed together and generously share knowledge and expertise between themselves.

I proudly manage the North East Oxfordshire territory.
The groups are popular, dynamic and vibrant where you can be assured of excellent business connections, to meet local business women and step out of the isolation so many female entrepreneurs can feel.
All of the members pride themselves on the strategic connections that they have created, collaborating with each other to create new projects and services.
Banbury & Bicester meets on the 1st Tuesday of the month from 12 – 2pm (excluding August & December).
Oxford City East meets on the 4th Thursday of the month from 12 – 2pm (excluding August & December).
In Person Cappuccino Connections – on the 2nd Thursday of the month (Athena Members Only)
Online Cappuccino Connections – on the 4th Thursday of the month 10-11.30am (Excluding August and December)

PASS+ IS YOUR GATEWAY TO ALL OF OUR MEETINGS
PASS+ gives you FREE access to an Athena meeting, there are no additional fees to be paid and this is another benefit of membership. You are encouraged to visit as many other meetings as you have time for (please ensure that you have sufficient time to follow up from your meetings).
We have launched in Singapore and more International group launches are planned. What that means is you will also have access to those meetings. You could say that we have meetings 24/7. If the time zones work for you then your options are UNLIMITED.
ALL of this is included in your annual membership. Our usual meeting guidelines apply, which means there will be no professional clashes at the meetings, and the Regional Director/Ambassador will manage the dynamics of the mix of industries to ensure that everyone attending has an outstanding experience.
