After a 15-year career in the financial sector, I have run networking groups in Hertfordshire and Bedfordshire for a number of years after shifting my focus from corporate life to my own business success and my family. I LOVE being a connector and introducer for those looking for each other’s services and building networking confidence in others. Personal development and connecting with like-minded people were key to my success in my businesses. We are the average of the 5 people we spend most time with and as one of my members says "Athena ups your average"! One of my favourite quotes, from Henry Ford, is “Whether you think you can, or whether you think you can’t, you’re right” and I actively help fellow entrepreneurs to appreciate that they already have in them what they need to succeed and that what has happened previously is not what matters, but what they choose to do now. Everyone is entitled to greatness, and everyone has something of value to share.

On Thursday 20th June Henriette Danel Business & Client Attraction Coach will be our Business Development Speaker at the Athena Woburn meeting.
Henriette Danel is a Multi-Award Winning Business & Client Attraction Coach, working with Business Owners in the service-based industry, to help them Attract More Clients Continuously. She’s also the host of The Entrepreneurial Success Podcast, a Public Speaker and Author.
The title of her talk is ‘Why You Should Collaborate & Not Compete’.
Collaborations are vastly becoming popular amongst entrepreneurs and those who know how to collaborate with others in similar niches, they’ve got the upper hand. Even the word ‘Competition’ can have a negative connotation, but it comes down to understanding the real benefits of collaborations vs competition.
