THE ATHENA NETWORK SOUTH WALES GROUP MEETING DETAILS
Welcome to the Athena South Wales women’s networking group meeting page.
For business women in South Wales:
Swansea, Mumbles, Cardiff, Aberdare, Ammanford, Barry, Bridgend, Caerphilly, Camarthen, Llanelli, Merthyr Tydfil, Monmouth, Neath, Pontypridd, Port Talbot, Porthcawl, South Gower (and surrounding areas)
Athena South Wales is a popular, dynamic, and vibrant women’s networking group where you can be assured of excellent business connections. Meet local businesswomen and step out of the isolation so many female entrepreneurs can feel.
The South Wales members pride themselves on the strategic connections that they have created, collaborating with each other to create new projects and services.
This group meets on the 1st Tuesday of the month from 12 – 2 pm (excluding August & December). Below you’ll find details of our current members and their professions, including how you can get in touch with them.

This month we are delighted to welcome Ana Lamont, who will be talking about the ‘101 reasons why you keep putting off video… and how to blitz them all!’
We all know that video — whether that’s Instagram reels, YouTube content or appearing on podcasts — is one of the most effective ways to increase visibility, build trust and attract new clients. The Google 7-11-4 Rule tells us so, business coaches remind us regularly, and our own to-do lists keep nudging us in the same direction.
So why do so many of us still avoid it? Why does it keep getting pushed further down the list?
Usually, it’s not just about the practicalities — although questions like “What do I say?”, “What equipment do I need?” and “Where do I even start?” can feel overwhelming enough. Add in the discomfort of being visible on camera, and it’s easy to see why video content often feels harder than it should.
