THE ATHENA NETWORK READING AND HENLEY GROUP MEETING DETAILS

Welcome to the READING & HENLEY group meeting details page. If you are a businesswoman in Reading, (and surrounding areas) I know that you will want to find out more before you attend one of our meetings so I’ve provided meeting dates and times as well as a list of current members and their professions.

Reading & Henley Group is a popular, dynamic and vibrant group where you can be assured of excellent business connections. Meet local businesswomen and step out of the isolation so many female entrepreneurs can feel.

The Reading & Henley Group members pride themselves on the strategic connections that they have created, collaborating with each other to create new projects and services.

This group meets on the 2nd Tuesday of the month from 12 – 2 p.m. (excluding August & December). Below you’ll find details of our current members and their professions, including how you can get in touch with them.

    BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT TRAINING

Cat Morgan, Family Law Solicitor who’s Business Development Training will be sharing:>

    Family Law Myth-busting

We all have our own experiences of relationships and relationships that have come to an end. We will all know friends or clients who have encountered this too. We hear sound bites or anecdotal accounts of what will happen amongst friends, news stories and can easily fall into the trap of Googling what we think the answers might be. It is an uncertain time for clients. Family Lawyers often come up against common misconceptions. Cat’s talk will shed light on some common Family Law myths and set the record straight.

She will share an insight into the truth behind some common Family Law myths so that you have the confidence to guide clients and friends to seek accurate, meaningful advice to protect their interests and ensure that they receive a fair outcome.

Maybe outside of this talk you can think about the myths that need to be ‘busted’ in your own area of work?

Cat Morgan is a Legal Director specialising in Family Law at Blake Morgan LLP, advising clients throughout the Thames Valley and beyond. Cat has 14 years of experience, respect of her peers and her clients as demonstrated by her recognition in the Legal 500 as a “Rising Star” (2024 edition) and in Chamber & Partners. With her longstanding Resolution membership, Cat balances experience and high-level technical ability with empathy and practical solutions.
