Lara Lauder
I have been a member of The Athena Network for 6 years and became a Regional Director for West Berkshire in 2023! I have always loved the Athena way of networking because it truly is a support with and from like-minded ladies. I was delighted to take on the West Berkshire region which is a natural progression of my prior networking expertise and growth. As well as being the Regional Director I run a successful business showing professional ladies around the globe how to unlock their hidden confidence. I achieve this through business and strategy training. uplevelling their presentation skills and discovering their colour and style through image consultancy. I am also host of the global podcast 'Unlock Your Hidden Confidence.'

This months Business Development Speaker…
BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT TRAINING
Nikki McGlynn from Organised Mind who’s Business Development Training will be sharing:
Executive dysfunction – The impact of ADHD on running a business (and what you can do about it)
She will cover the importance of financial planning, why we might avoid it, the benefits of tackling it, the issues to be aware of and why it’s so important, and key points for planning for yourr future.
ADHD is a poorly understood condition and it is under diagnosed in women and girls. Nikki will outline some of the key issues that you may not be aware of – short term memory issues, rejection sensitivity, sensory processing issues, how improve them and why they are worse around your period and at menopause.
Nikki has been a therapist for over twenty years and working with neurodevelopment for the last ten. She discovered neurodevelopment when looking for something to specifically help her daughter who was diagnosed with dyslexia at 13 and then more recently with ADHD. She has since trained in various movement programmes – movement changes the brain, and then as an ADHD Coach, really to help support a lot of her adult clients themselves and their children. She is also very interested in using movement to aid recovery from trauma.
