After a 15-year career in the financial sector, I have run networking groups in Hertfordshire and Bedfordshire for a number of years after shifting my focus from corporate life to my own business success and my family. I LOVE being a connector and introducer for those looking for each other’s services and building networking confidence in others. Personal development and connecting with like-minded people were key to my success in my businesses. We are the average of the 5 people we spend most time with and as one of my members says "Athena ups your average"! One of my favourite quotes, from Henry Ford, is “Whether you think you can, or whether you think you can’t, you’re right” and I actively help fellow entrepreneurs to appreciate that they already have in them what they need to succeed and that what has happened previously is not what matters, but what they choose to do now. Everyone is entitled to greatness, and everyone has something of value to share.

Event Description
Join us for a Networking Coffee Morning in Luton with Azalea and the Bedfordshire Chamber of Commerce.
We’ve teamed up with The Bedfordshire Chamber of Commerce to bring you a morning of networking at Luton-based charity Azalea.
Free to all local businesses, sole traders, SMEs, with the opportunity to contribute a small donation on site should you wish to.
Join us for coffee, cake, networking and to hear briefly about Azalea while discovering the beautiful former hat factory that the charity calls home in the centre of Luton. (Parking available in public car parks in the vicinity, information will be provided).
The general format will be informal so you can mill around and get to know fellow attendees in Azalea’s (hirable) meeting space, with a very short introduction to Azalea, Athena and Chamber during the session.

A tour of the venue will also be possible.
