After a 15-year career in the financial sector, I have run networking groups in Hertfordshire and Bedfordshire for a number of years after shifting my focus from corporate life to my own business success and my family. I LOVE being a connector and introducer for those looking for each other’s services and building networking confidence in others. Personal development and connecting with like-minded people were key to my success in my businesses. We are the average of the 5 people we spend most time with and as one of my members says "Athena ups your average"! One of my favourite quotes, from Henry Ford, is “Whether you think you can, or whether you think you can’t, you’re right” and I actively help fellow entrepreneurs to appreciate that they already have in them what they need to succeed and that what has happened previously is not what matters, but what they choose to do now. Everyone is entitled to greatness, and everyone has something of value to share.

Event Description
Cappuccino Connections is an informal business networking online event for women and this edition is a mega collaboration between the Athena Network Suffolk, North/East Oxfordshire, North Bucks, West Chilterns, Warwickshire, Bedfordshire and St Albans/Welwyn/Hatfield area.
All business women are invited, so whether you are a networking novice or a nifty networker, come and see if we can help you build your business with new connections, support, and inspiration.
It’s the opportunity to make contact with local business ladies and to spend time building those all-important business relationships.
This virtual event is informal, friendly, and supportive.
For ladies who haven’t visited an Athena group and experienced an Athena structured business meeting, Cappuccino Connections is a great ice breaker. Ideal for anyone new to Athena and/ or to networking, visitors are restricted to one visit.
