COVID-19 brought challenges in many shapes and forms for women in business across the country, in Athena we responded quickly to move online and months on we found that our members thrived from being able to connect remotely and were able to build more relationships virtually, with less time and distance challenges. For others, the opportunity to network virtually made it more accessible for them, when previously they may not have been able to regularly get to any physical networking. For these reasons the Bedfordshire Virtual group was born.
