In a quiet area of Aberdeenshire, Kerri Holden has been building a name for herself as a trusted Virtual
Assistant. Running her business from home, she offers vital support to fellow business owners. She’s
known for her dedication, attention to detail, and her warm, personable approach.

Now, Kerri is stepping into an exciting additional chapter.

Her journey into the world of Athena began at an FSB networking meeting, where she met Lindsay
McLoughlin, the Athena Franchise Attraction Director. Something about Lindsay’s energy — and the
empowering vision of Athena — resonated with Kerri. Her curiosity was sparked, and she registered for
one of Athena’s franchisee information webinars.

As someone who believes in doing her homework, Kerri approached the opportunity with thoughtful due
diligence. She asked meaningful questions and looked closely at what made Athena truly stand out.

What makes Athena different?
What kind of impact could it have for women in Aberdeenshire?
Could this really be something special?

The answer, she discovered, was a resounding yes.

Pause for consideration

What struck Kerri most was Athena’s mission: to empower women through meaningful, supportive
networking. She was inspired by the idea of helping women in Aberdeenshire build powerful, lasting
connections across an established longstanding business networking community.

But there was one gorgeous additional consideration…

… She was about to become a grandmother.

With her daughter’s baby on the way, she paused to reflect. Could she really juggle supporting her daughter and the new grandbaby, and continue to run her VA business, and launch a brand-new Athena region?

It felt like Athena might be one role too many, all at once.

When she voiced her concern to her daughter, the response was immediate — and heartwarming!

“Mum, you have to do this. I’ll help in the background!”

That moment of encouragement was all Kerri needed.

Now, Kerri is proudly preparing to launch her very first Athena group — a vibrant space where women
in business can come together to connect, collaborate, and grow. She brings her passion for
community and her natural ability to support others into this new role as Regional Director. And
importantly, she continues to run her VA business alongside, providing the same high-quality support
her clients know and trust.

Kerri’s story is a celebration of what’s possible when we choose to follow our instincts — even when the
timing feels full.

She hasn’t given anything up.

Instead, she’s embraced something more. With purpose, support, and a strong network behind her, Kerri is proving that stepping into something new can be the very thing that brings all your roles to life.
