The Athena Network Singapore has grown into a warm, dynamic community of women who genuinely believe in lifting one another higher. Now in its fourth year, Athena has become a trusted home for meaningful connection, business growth, and the kind of support that helps women step into their next level with confidence.
Rebecca Downie, who spent two years as a member of Athena in the UK, brought the network to Singapore after experiencing first-hand just how powerful it is to be surrounded by women who see you, support you, and champion your work. Her passion for community — and her deep belief in women supporting women — continues to be the heartbeat of Athena Singapore.
Today, Athena Singapore is thriving.
We have three vibrant groups and are creating space for even more women to join a community that feels both intimate and energising. Our membership is beautifully diverse, with women from many countries and professions, yet we are united by a shared value: business grows best when women grow together.

Alongside leading Athena, Rebecca is the founder of Rebecca Downie Photography, where she helps women entrepreneurs show up confidently and authentically online. Through storytelling-focused brand imagery, she empowers them to connect with their ideal clients and bring their work to life. Her passion for elevating women — visually, professionally, and personally — seamlessly aligns with the vision of The Athena Network.

GROUP INFORMATION
I proudly manage three groups affectionatly known as Merlion, Straits and Kampong.
Both groups launched in March 2022 and have continued to attract new members each month.
Both are popular, dynamic and vibrant groups where you can be assured of excellent business connections, to meet local business women and step out of the isolation so many female entrepreneurs can feel.
All of the members pride themselves on the strategic connections that they have created, collaborating with each other to create new projects and services.
Merlion meets on the 3rd Wednesday of the month from 12 – 2pm (excluding July & December).
Straits meets on the 4th Wednesday of the month from 12 – 2pm (excluding July & December).
Kampong meets on the 2nd Tuesday of the month from 12-2pm (excluding July & December).

You know that continuing to develop your business relationships, nurture your suppliers and create strategic alliances is important so we invite you to become a member of the The Athena Network.
Membership is only $1,099 per annum*.
We can provide a monthly payment plan, at $99 p/month.
*NOTE: You are committing to a 12-month membership.
Membership of The Athena Network will give you access to all of our membership benefits including PASS+ which means that you can currently attend 150+ meetings (at no additional cost), Cappuccino Connections (informal networking in person each month), an extensive training portfolio and all the connections within our network.
UNLIMITED ACCESS TO ALL OF OUR MEETINGS
PASS+ IS YOUR GATEWAY TO ALL OF OUR MEETINGS
PASS+ gives you FREE access to an Athena meeting, there are no additional fees to be paid and this is another benefit of membership. You are encouraged to visit as many other meetings as you have time for (please ensure that you have sufficient time to follow up from your meetings).
We have launched in Australia, Denmark and Singapore and more International group launches are planned. What that means is you will also have access to those meetings. You could say that we have meetings 24/7. If the time zones work for you then your options are UNLIMITED.
ALL of this is included in your annual membership. Our usual meeting guidelines apply, which means there will be no professional clashes at the meetings, and the Regional Director/Ambassador will manage the dynamics of the mix of industries to ensure that everyone attending has an outstanding experience.
